Mission
To create a virtual place of learning for K-12 computer science in the state of Illinois.
The Illinois Computer Science Teacher Toolkit is an initiative of the Discovery Partners Institute aimed at promoting the teaching and learning of computer science in Illinois schools. Our goal is to become a main hub of information and discussion for K-12 teachers, librarians, coaches, administrators, and more.
On this site, you will find computer science resources, discussion forums, information on STEM-related events and job postings, and more. We plan to add new assets to the site in the future, such as opportunities for professional development.
If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to the admin team at support@csteachertoolkit.org.
About Discovery Partners Institute
The Discovery Partners Institute empowers people to jumpstart their tech careers or companies in Chicago. Led by the University of Illinois System in partnership with top research universities, it does three things: Train people for high-demand tech jobs; conduct applied R&D; and support business building. With state investment and a new innovation district in development, DPI has the resources to attract, develop, and leverage the most ambitious people and companies the region has to offer — and keep them here.
